Rusūkh is built to respect your privacy. It has no accounts, and your data stays on your device. This page explains exactly what that means.

Information stored on your device

Your reading and memorization data, including daily goals, progress, strength estimates, review history, bookmarks, and settings, is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us and is not held on any server we operate.

No account, no personal data collection

Rusūkh does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or contacts.

Recitation audio

When you choose to play a recitation, the app requests the audio file over the internet from a third-party provider, the Islamic Network (AlQuran.cloud). As with any internet request, that provider may receive your device's IP address and the standard technical information needed to deliver the audio. We do not control that provider, and its handling of requests is governed by its own terms.

Qur'an text and translations

The Qur'anic text and translations are included within the app. Translations are sourced from the QuranEnc encyclopedia of the Noble Qur'an and are displayed without modification.

Analytics and tracking

Rusūkh does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software. Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymized App Store statistics, and your device's operating system may collect standard diagnostic or crash information according to your iOS privacy settings. That information is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, not by us.

Children

Rusūkh does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
